SYM presents its Maxsym TL 1 megascooter

SYM presents its new top-of-the-range scooter, which crowns its extensive and renowned range of urban motorcycles: the new TL 1. This scooter is inspired by the appeal of a superbike. The SYM Maxsym TL 1 is an innovative “Twin Cylinder” sports megascooter, created to deliver maximum performance and the greatest riding pleasure. Developed by SYM’s European design department.

The TL 1 is characterized by an urban, compact and aggressive look, with an exclusive set of LED lights that gives it a striking personality. Among its features, it comes with a high-performance engine in terms of power, available torque and wide usable range. It also has a “Twin Cylinder” twin-cylinder configuration, with a counter-rotating balance shaft and oil-bath clutch, which effectively reduces vibrations, even at low revs.

It also comes with 8 valves, double overhead camshafts, 465 cc, with maximum power of 29.4 kW (40 CV) at 7,750 rpm, and performance on a par with the best competitors in its segment. In addition, it offers excellent handling, standing out for its “Adjustable Centered Suspension Multi-link” system (6 elements), which openly demonstrates its advanced concept, with superior absorption capacity and greater stability when riding over broken asphalt or, once riding conditions improve, returning effectively to fast and comfortable riding.

The inverted fork provides an unbeatable steering feel, as well as very precise performance and responses. Add to this its “short” platform configuration (1,550 mm), which ensures perfect weight distribution (50/50) – certainly the shortest wheelbase among its competitors – providing outstanding dynamism and performance.

It comes with a braking system consisting of a double front disc and four-piston radial calipers and an ABS system, which ensures maximum safety for the rider. At the rear there is another disc. And of course, it has a striking sporty design inspired by superbikes.
