Summary of day 2 of CEV testing at the Albacete Circuit

The Spanish Speed Championship concluded yesterday its second pre-season 2012 test day, so the national championship has brought to a close this first contact session for many teams and riders with their respective machines, and also, at one of the circuits on the calendar for the CEV Buckler and for the European Championship.

One of the riders who stood out the most was María Herrera, the newcomer from Monlau Competición in the CEV Moto3 category, who began the setup work alongside her teammates and crew on the Albacete track, giving her all with her Honda. She was also closely followed by Emilio Alzamora, who did not miss a single step of his protégés in the national speed championship.

On the second day, the riders took to the track later, as the low temperatures made the situation more difficult in the early hours of testing, so they took their time to avoid unnecessary risks in these first days of setup ahead of the start of the 2012 CEV season.

Regarding Promoracing, in 2012 they will be heavily involved with three structures in the CEV: two in Moto3, with the one for Racc Honda and the Venezuela Racing Team led by Carlos Lavado, while the third will be the support team for the Ducati Panigale of Quique Ferrer, and the Suter Moto2 they will share with rider Álex Mariñelarena. The Griful team in Moto2 was also present, with rider Ezequiel Iturrioz, and Russel Gómez took to the track with the AJR of the MS team, although there are more riders that we did not mention in the day 1 summary, such as Dani Rivas with his TSR alongside Juan Ramírez.

In addition to the riders and teams we have mentioned, all those we referred to in the day 1 summary were also present at this second day, without a doubt two intense days for the 2012 CEV.
