KNC (Kawasaki Ninja Cup)

Pole for Alarte at the CEV in Valencia

Antonio Alarte will start from the first position of the Kawasaki Ninja Cup at the CEV in Valencia with a lap time almost two seconds faster than Palao, who qualified second.

Campeonato España Velocidad CEV

The Kawashaki Ninja Cup 2011 is coming to an end, and in this session Antonio Alarte was the fastest on track. His time was 1:40.314, a truly outstanding lap, as it allowed him to pull almost two seconds clear of his closest rival, Palao.

This is a cup of maximum equality, where all riders have practically the same equipment; the only difference lies in each rider’s budget.

Third place went to Adriá Araujo, who set a time just two thousandths behind Palao, 1:42.253. Araujo is fighting hard for the championship and is currently tied on points with Alarte. This weekend they are going all in, and we will see who finds the last tenths in tomorrow’s race and who crosses the finish line first.

Campeonato España Velocidad CEV
