Pedrosa and Stoner mark Repsol's 300 podiums Honda at Laguna Seca

Last Sunday, Team Repsol Honda reached a truly spectacular figure in the MotoGP World Championship, as they secured their 300th podium, with Dani Pedrosa and Casey Stoner in the honor positions at the Laguna Seca Circuit.

The tenth round of the 2012 MotoGP World Championship has left Repsol Honda with 300 podiums right at the summer break, a scandalous figure added to the more than 100 victories and the nine World titles it has amassed in the 18 years since its creation.

The energy company and the Japanese brand joined forces in 1995 with the aim of being the first in the premier class, and thanks to some of the best riders in the world they are achieving great numbers in their MotoGP history. Among the names, the one that stands out most in podium count is Dani Pedrosa, who last Sunday earned his 65th podium.

Behind Pedrosa is Mick Doohan with 48 podiums, followed by Álex Crivillé with 44 podiums, Valentino Rossi with 31 podiums, Nicky Hayden with 25 podiums, and closing the top 6 is Casey Stoner with his 23 podiums.

Without a doubt, illustrious names that have become history and some that still are, such as Dani Pedrosa, who will also be with Repsol Honda in 2013, and Casey Stoner, who will add his strength for the rest of the 2012 season to boost the team’s numbers.
