The NIU brand is set to revolutionize electric mobility with two-wheeled vehicles. The NIU team is made up of technicians, industrial designers, engineers and creative designers who have joined forces to change the way city dwellers explore the urban landscape.
Its next step is to begin distribution in Spain in early December. The initial range will consist of the N1 S and M1 models, two striking scooters with advanced design and technology. Notable features include their permanent cloud connection via a mobile app, which allows their systems to be constantly updated, their built-in GPS for continuous tracking, and, of course, their high level of technological refinement.
NIU was born from the fusion of technology and industrial design. On June 1, 2015, it celebrated its “coming-out” in Beijing (China), at a ceremony attended by more than 1,000 distinguished guests, designers and public officials, where CEO Li Yinan and his team unveiled to the world version 1.0 of the N1 electric scooter.
Co-founders Li Yi Nan, former CTO at Baidu, and Token Hu, formerly a designer at Frog and Microsoft, joined forces to create a vehicle that will forever change the way urbanites live, work and socialize in their favorite cities around the world.
