Nicky Hayden visited the Ducati factory in Borgo Panigale
MotoGP riders are on holiday, but most of them keep attending events and meetings with brands and sponsors, so Nicky Hayden was no exception and these days he has been at the Italian factory of Ducati, where the machine he will ride in 2010 is being created.
The American went to Borgo Panigale to take a close look at how the MotoGP changes were progressing, and it seems he is satisfied for now. He also greatly values the effort the red-bullet brand is making with so many last-minute situations.
The rider also joked, since Christmas is so close and seeing everyone dressed in red reminded him of Santa Claus, although apparently he couldn’t see any of them.
Everyone was dressed in red, and I haven’t seen a single Santa Claus!
Santa Claus has arrived early for me, because when I saw my new bike it was like Christmas morning.
I’ll have to wait until February before I can get my new toy and play with it. Anyway, I’d better go. Today we were in the wind tunnel trying to get more speed, and afterwards I’ll go to India to open a new Ducati Store.
It seems the American is very busy these days, although he’ll surely be close to his loved ones on the most important dates and enjoying every moment until it’s time to put his work overalls back on.
We’ll keep an eye on Nicky Hayden.
