New Features for the BMW F 800 R and GS

The brand BMW continues to introduce new features for several of its machines. This time, the changes affect two models from the F series: the BMW F 800 GS and the BMW F 800 R. The first of these is the highlight, because starting August 1, 2013 it will receive several changes that may be of interest to users of the German brand.

Specifically, starting August 1, 2013, the BMW F 800 GS will be available with the following changes to its optional equipment: the Safety package is replaced by the Dynamic package, which consists of the ESA, ASC and Off Road riding mode systems (which affect the ABS and ASC systems, only available as part of the “Dynamic” package).

In addition, it is also confirmed that the “Dynamic ” package cannot be combined with the low suspension setting, so there are new features for this model from the German brand.

As for the second machine we are discussing today, the BMW F 800 R, the new features arriving starting August 1, 2013 are that it will be available in the Orange Metallic / Silk Black and Luminous White / Storm Metallic Black / Silk Black paint finishes. The Sapphire Black Metallic and Silver Grey Metallic paint finishes will no longer be available, so you will need to hurry if you want that design.

Two BMW models with some changes that join the rest of the German brand’s range, with slight variations in their colours and other aspects. Time for a summer refresh.
