More than 500 registered riders for the 2014 Bassella Race 1
The Bassella Race 1 is approaching. With just over a month to go until the event, the entry list has already passed 500 registrations, which is quite an achievement for the organisers and for the whole movement we will see during the competition days. Strong participation in this 2014 edition.
The Bassella Race 1 is approaching. With just over a month to go until the event, the entry list has already passed 500 registrations, which is quite an achievement for the organisers and for the whole movement we will see during the competition days. Enduro is becoming more and more popular, with growing participation both nationally and internationally.
As always, the Amateur category, with a total of 300 participants so far, promises to be the most crowded, but remember that the registration forms will remain open until 31 January, so you still have time to join this motorcycling celebration.
One of the main new features of this edition is the change of route, which will run through the northern area of Bassella along tracks and trails not used in previous years. Almost 50% of the course will be completely new. A total of 65 km with quite technical sections, so the estimated time for completing a lap in the Amateur category is at least 2 hours.
Another new feature of this 2014 edition is the Pre-BR1 riding course that Club SIP Sport is organising from 17 to 19 January with the collaboration of World Championship rider Jordi Figueras. Aimed at amateur riders, it is a unique opportunity to learn how to approach the race (bike setup, physical preparation, equipment, …) and to discover the secrets of the course before anyone else.
Everything is ready for 15-16 February at the Bassella Race 1. Join the action and enjoy two days of pure motorcycling at the start of 2014.
