Max Biaggi admits that Rossi's achievements are greater

The World Superbike Champion, Max Biaggi, has made some very interesting statements to the Gazzetta dello Sport, in which he declared Valentino Rossi’s superiority.

It seems the Italian wants to put an end to the already legendary rivalry between them. The compatriots have had their ups and downs, and that tension has always been very evident.

So don’t miss Biaggi’s statements about Rossi and their rivalry:

We are grown adults now, and it is time to recognize the achievements each of us has accomplished, and to acknowledge that his have been greater.

He has also commented on the rivalry, saying that:

It fed itself and has been positive for our sport, both in Italy and around the world. But now we race in different championships, and we are no longer teenagers. There is no point in keeping it alive.

This gesture from Biaggi is very interesting as a way of burying his rivalry with Rossi, although I doubt very much that they will ever become friends.

What do you think?

We will keep a close eye on Max Biaggi.
