Maverick Viñales testing in Almería with his Moto3
Moto3 rider Maverick Viñales has worked today on his new machine for next season, and he also received a great surprise at the Almería circuit, where he enjoyed himself like a child.
Rider Maverick Viñales has been today at one of the first test sessions with his Moto3 for next season. The chosen venue was the Almería circuit, where the Catalan enjoyed a great day of work and fine-tuning.
After his first outing with the 2012 machine on the Cheste track a few weeks ago, he now had to get back to work with his BQR team. It was not easy, as there were some minor problems, which are normal on prototypes as young as this Moto3, but they learned a lot and managed to complete more than twenty laps and draw conclusions to keep evolving the bike.
One of the moments that surprised the Catalan most was when his team gave him their surprise: today the 25 got on a Moto2 as a gift, so he was able to ride the intermediate-class bike during several runs, and he finished the day delighted.

What a surprise the team gave me. It’s true that I had asked them on some occasion to let me try a Moto2, but I didn’t expect it to happen today.
I was surprised by the power and the acceleration. The truth is that it was great fun, and I want to thank the team.
But the important thing is that we were able to ride the Moto3 FTR engine Honda and we obtained very valuable information to keep working throughout the entire pre-season.

Pues no sabemos ni tiempos con la moto3, ni con la moto2, no han trascendido por parte del equipo… tocará esperar para el siguiente test.
