Maverick Viñales already has his Aixam GTO

Rider Maverick Viñales has been officially presented as the new image of the Aixam brand. The signing between the manufacturer of licence-free cars and the Moto3 rider took place a few days ago, and at that same event he was handed his welcome gift, a lovely GTO.

The agreement has been set for the next two years, and at the signing was Mr. Rui Chen, the company’s Managing Director, who handed him the keys to the brand’s sportiest model, undoubtedly an early Christmas present.

The brand chose Viñales for his qualities, based on what he has shown in his first year in the 125cc class, and on what he still has to prove in Moto3. He is undoubtedly one of the big favorites for the championship, and he also fits perfectly with the brand’s values: leadership, competitiveness and the capacity to keep improving.

As could not be otherwise, Maverick was delighted with Mr. Chen’s words and with his new gift, and he was very impressed by the vehicle’s features and its generous equipment. The handover took place at the brand’s headquarters in Sant Cugat del Vallès.

For us this is a very interesting collaboration. In Europe a very high percentage of our vehicle sales come from young people, which is not the case in Spain. Maverick is a role model for young Spaniards, and being linked to Aixam will help young people get to know our products and become interested in them.
