Julián Simón continues his preparation for Moto2 with the MX

Rider Julián Simón is gradually recovering from a complicated 2011 season in the Moto2 World Championship, and he is eagerly preparing his next adventure, doing so with his beloved motocross and alongside big names such as the Barragán brothers.

We’re very happy to see our World Motorcycle Championship riders who were injured or going through tough times gradually recovering. This time it’s the turn of Julián Simón, our favorite 60, who is slowly getting back on the throttle of his beloved motocross bike, without a doubt great news for the Toledo native.

The 2011 season was very complicated, especially after his injury at the Catalunya Grand Prix, but Simón has always faced all these hard moments with a smile and the desire to bounce back, and now things are finally looking up again. We can see him back on a bike, feeling the motorcycle again, opening the throttle and training alongside top MX specialists such as the Barragán brothers.

It’s a joy to read the 60 on Twitter; he is really eager to start testing his new bike and get back to riding at full speed. For now he continues his training in motocross and at the gym, but soon he’ll be back on the Moto2 bike for the pre-season tests, so we’ll see Julito smiling again after a tough year in the intermediate class.

Today he’s training with the Barragán brothers, so surely some photos will appear shortly. And to all those who have criticized MX after what happened to Dovizioso: it is one of the best disciplines for staying in shape and keeping your feel for the bike, which is why most riders choose it to keep training during holidays, breaks and pre-seasons.

Keep it up, 60.
