Jorge Martín gets injured in the Moto2 pre-season test at Jerez

The Moto2 World Championship rider, Jorge Martín, suffered a very nasty crash yesterday at the Jerez Circuit, where the first 2019 pre-season test is being held. Without a doubt, this is not the best start to his move into the intermediate class, as he fractured the humerus of his left arm, along with the third metatarsal and the little finger of his right foot.
The rider from the Red Bull KTM Ajo team was immediately taken to the Hospital de Jerez so that doctors could assess the injuries of the young rider from Madrid. Without a doubt, it is a rough start for the Moto3 World Champion in his new stage, and in his first contact with his new machine and team.
Martín will be re-examined for the injuries sustained by Doctor Mir and the most appropriate course of treatment will be decided. Obviously ruled out for the two remaining test days in Jerez, the question is whether the current Moto3 World Champion will be fit to get back on the bike for the next test in the category, which will take place on February 20 at the same Jerez track.
Get well soon, Jorge.
