Jorge Lorenzo visited the Los Carriles Club and Macael

Motorcycle rider Jorge Lorenzo was visiting the Almanzora area a few days ago, stopping by the Macael Town Hall, his new sponsor Cosentino, and the Los Carriles Club, where they were waiting for him with great enthusiasm, from athlete to athlete.

Rider Jorge Lorenzo spent a few days in the Almanzora region, making several visits, including a very moving one at the Los Carriles Club, as well as stopping by the Cosentino headquarters and the Town Hall.

The visit began at 10 in the morning with a press conference at the facilities of his new sponsor, at the Cosentino Group headquarters, where after speaking with the media he was able to tour the factory.

At 1 p.m. he arrived at the Los Carriles Occupational Centre, where the workers are part of the intellectual disability sports club, who are great athletes, having won the Spanish runners-up title, so there has been a lot of effort and fighting spirit. This visit undoubtedly motivated the Mallorcan, who toured the facilities and answered several questions from club members, mostly about training, preparation and everything that goes into being a champion.

That same day, since the day of the visit coincided with the commemoration of Disability Day, a manifesto was read, after which the 2010 MotoGP world champion was presented with a marble statuette in gratitude for the visit.

To close the day of visits, he was received at the Macael Town Hall, where he greeted everyone and left his signature in the visitors’ book, thanking everyone for the warm welcome and for all the preparations made for his visit.

A day full of emotions for everyone, a very intense day.
