Jorge Lorenzo says he prefers Pedrosa to win the World Championship over Rossi

The Champion of the MotoGP World, Jorge Lorenzo has stated that he prefers a Spanish rider to win the title of the premier class, and gave the clear example that between Dani Pedrosa and Valentino Rossi, he prefers the winner to be the Catalan from Honda.

I always prefer a Spaniard to win the championship, for example I prefer Pedrosa to win it over Rossi, because he is Spanish.

Furthermore, now even more so that Valentino has gone to Ducati.

He was also flattered by the statements of the Repsol Honda Team director, since he claimed that the rider to beat is the current champion, to which Lorenzo has replied that he does not see a clear favourite for 2011.

This season I don’t see a clear favourite, but I’m flattered that they consider me the rider to beat.
