Jorge Lorenzo remains the best in MotoGP at the Brno free practice sessions
Rider Jorge Lorenzo remains the benchmark in MotoGP at Brno after setting the fastest time in the second free practice session of the premier class, with a lap of 1:56.331. Just two tenths behind, Dani Pedrosa has placed himself second, improving one position from the first session.
Meanwhile, in third place is Rossi, ahead of Edwards, Capirossi and Elías. It therefore seems the Spanish riders are in top form, though you can never rule out the great Champion Rossi; he will surely be in the fight for pole.
For his part, the last race winner, Dovizioso, could not get past seventh place, more than a second and a half off Lorenzo’s time, followed by Kallio, De Angelis and Hayden.
Now we have to wait and see what happens with pole, although it seems Lorenzo is in top form and is the big favourite to secure the front-row position on the grid, though we will see what Pedrosa and Rossi do.
We will keep watching MotoGP.
