Jorge Lorenzo and Mick Doohan will take part in the Race of Champions
The Race of Champions will have its two-wheeled representation, with Jorge Lorenzo, 2012 MotoGP World Champion, and the legend Mick Doohan in action. Both will give their all next December to beat the rest of the participants from various disciplines on four wheels.

At this event we can always see great drivers and riders from the motorsport world, with guests from several disciplines, from Formula 1, Touring Cars, Le Mans, IndyCar, X-Games, MotoGP and WRC. It will be most interesting to watch them compete in vehicles of the same style, so no one will have an easy time; everyone is on equal terms, everyone the same.
So Lorenzo will have plenty of fighting to do, not only against big Formula 1 names, but also against driver David Coulthard and a fellow motorcycle racer, the great 500cc legend Mick Doohan. Pure excitement for all the participants. In addition, the Mallorcan will also perform a demonstration at the controls of a Yamaha, so there will be plenty of action to close the year 2012 in a charitable way.
More confirmed drivers for this event in Bangkok from December 14 to 16 are Ryan Hunter-Reay, IndyCar champion, and Jamie Whincup, Australian V8 Supercars champion.
Jorge Lorenzo commented about this event that it was one of the best ways to end the year 2012, a fantastic season:
With Mick Doohan on the track, we will both have the goal of showing that we can do very well on four wheels. I hope the public enjoys it and has fun with all of us!
