Joan Cros signs with Honda to compete in MX and SX Élite
Rider Joan Cros has signed with Honda to compete in the Élite category after spending a few years in MX2, but he was clear that to make the jump up he needed strong backing, and the only way to get it was with the Japanese brand with the golden wing, so he said goodbye to Kawasaki.
He will race a Honda CRF 450 Racing prepared by JCR, but he will keep his own team, except that it will now be called Team Honda JCR Rockstar, so the Manlleu rider has everything set to move up to MX Élite in the national championship and Supercross, and also in the European SX championship.
Below you can see the statements from the Catalan rider:
I am very proud to have been part of Kawasaki and to have achieved many victories, those have been wonderful years.
I did not want to stay in MX2 any longer, I wanted to make the jump to the Élite category, and the only way to do it in good conditions was with Honda.
We will keep an eye on Motocross.
