James Stewart joins Yoshimura and its Suzuki for SX and MX

Yesterday one of the star signings in the world of Supercross and Motocross was announced, as Team Yoshimura Suzuki Racing confirmed the agreement with rider James Stewart, so the Champion is leaving Yamaha to bet on the Suzuki for the upcoming SX and MX season, the latter starting shortly.

Stewart will take part in both AMA Pro Motocross and Supercross on a spectacular Suzuki RM-Z450, and we’ll get to see him on it in action for the first time on May 19 at the first round of the AMA Pro Motocross season in Sacramento. Without a doubt a great signing: a champion rider with a team that can cause a lot of trouble, pure excitement on the track awaits us.

I’m really eager to join the team. It has been a pleasure to test the bike and get to know the team, I’m very excited. I’ve liked the bike since the first day I rode it, and I knew it was a great opportunity for me to show my talent.

We are all very happy to start this adventure and see what we can achieve in the coming years. I just want to thank everyone at Yoshimura and Suzuki United States for giving me this opportunity.

His teammate from now on is Brett Metcalfe, in what is expected to be an interesting option for him, the 7, starting with MX in a few days. Moreover, his adaptation to the Suzuki seems to be going well and he is very happy with the results, so expectations are at their peak for May 19.
