Today is a very special day for one of our MotoGP World Championship riders, since it is Aleix Espargaró’s birthday. The young rider celebrates his 23rd birthday today, and he’s doing it in style, in the world motorcycle championship and specifically in the premier class, where he is one of the benchmarks of the CRTs.
The Catalan turns 23 at one of the best moments of his racing career, as he is in MotoGP with his CRT from Power Electronics Aspar, showing great potential and developing this novel bike to very interesting limits, getting closer each day to today’s MotoGP machines.
A great rider and a great professional who always shows you his smile despite the problems, a wonderful person who has lived in this passionate world of two wheels since he was very young and who arrived in the World Championship in 2004 as a wildcard, then in 2005 made 16 starts on the 125cc grid, going through every class: 125cc, 250cc, MotoGP, Moto2, and now back to CRT MotoGP.
A natural-born worker who is now excited, enthusiastic about the opportunity Team Aspar gave him to work with these CRTs, with the ART that for now is giving him good feelings and placing him as one of the favourites in every race. Although there is still a lot to do, today is for enjoying his birthday with friends and family, so have a great time and may lots of little presents come his way.
