Hiroshi Aoyama will make the jump to MotoGP in 2010 with Honda
Rider Hiroshi Aoyama will be part of the 2010 MotoGP World Championship, since a new structure is being created by Daniel Epp with Honda, so the Japanese rider will be riding an RC212V next season.
Therefore, the current 250cc leader will make the step up to the premier class in the 2010 season with the Swiss team Paddock Grand Prix Management, which has issued an official statement that you can see below:
We are pleased to announce that we have completed an agreement to field an Honda RC212V in the MotoGP category for the 2010 season.
After winning the World Championship in 2005 with Tom Lüthi on the Honda 125 cc, it is a great pleasure for me to get back together with Honda.
Now, after all these years, we have finally been able to achieve our dream of being present in MotoGP.
Many details are still to be revealed, so we will have to wait until Epp explains more aspects about this new team joining MotoGP; supposedly, we will have more information during the Valencian Community Grand Prix.
Furthermore, the Japanese rider now has to think about the 250cc title, since he is the big favorite, but he cannot relax with Simoncelli and Bautista behind him, because at any moment he could get an unpleasant surprise.
We will keep an eye on MotoGP.
