Fabio Di Giannantonio wins the MotoGP World Championship race in Qatar
Rider Fabio Di Giannantonio takes the victory in the MotoGP World Championship at the Losail Circuit in Qatar, and Bagnaia extends his lead in the standings.

The MotoGP World Championship was the last to leave the Losail Circuit in Qatar, for the penultimate round of the 2023 season, undoubtedly the height of tension between Martín and Bagnaia, who will fight for the title in the final race of the year in Valencia.
The start was good for Pecco Bagnaia, who lined up in 1st, overtaking Luca Marini, while Martín had to make up ground from eighth place. Step by step we saw several position changes during the race, but with Bagnaia leading, though without breaking away from the pack.
With 15 laps to go, Bagnaia was still dominating, with Di Giannantonio just 0.5s behind, so the front group was quite tightly bunched on times. Three laps later we saw Viñales and Marc Márquez manage to overtake Martín, who dropped back to 8th place in the race.
Di Giannantonio pushed hard and with 4 laps to go took the lead of the race after passing Bagnaia, but the Ducati factory rider was not nervous, since Martín was very far from the front, specifically in 10th place.
After being overtaken by Di Giannantonio, Bagnaia tried to regain the lead but ran wide at the end of the straight, almost crashing to the ground, so the entire Ducati pit wall grew nervous, and he lost all the distance to DiGGia, who went straight on to victory.
Finally, victory went to Di Giannantonio, undoubtedly a great day for the young Italian rider, followed by Bagnaia, who consolidates his lead and would need a catastrophe in Valencia not to win the championship with those 21 points ahead of Martín. The top 10 was completed by Marini, Viñales, Binder, Alex Márquez, Quartararo, Bastianini, Miller and Martín.
On to Valencia.
