Elena Myers tests Bautista's Suzuki at Indianapolis
The rider Elena Myers fulfilled one of her dreams yesterday, getting on a MotoGP bike and riding it on a track. Specifically, she rode Álvaro Bautista’s Suzuki GSV-R at the Indianapolis circuit.
The 17-year-old completed a few laps of the American track to test the machine and get a feel for it. The truth is that the AMA Supersport rider is making a name for herself, and it’s a step forward to see her take part in these mini tests.
So after being left wanting more last season, the moment finally arrived for her. I hope it won’t be the only one, and that scenes like this become a normal sight in the World Motorcycle Championship across all three categories.
Soon we’ll have Elena Rosell in Moto2, so things are heating up, and I’m very glad about that, because there are very fast women, and more and more of them are proving it, such as Ana Carrasco, Maria Herrera, Elena Rosell, and many more.
Don’t miss the photos.
