Rider Dominique Aegerter wins Race 2 of the Supersport World Championship at the Assen Circuit

The Supersport World Championship returns to action on Sunday for Race 2 at the Assen Circuit, after what happened on Saturday with Dominique Aegerter’s victory, so we’ll see what happens in Race 2.
The start was good for Dominique Aegerter, who led the early stages of the race, followed by Oettl and Odendaal. Oettl quickly overtook the Swiss rider and moved into 1st place, although his rivals were very close.
With 14 laps to go, Aegerter was back in the lead of the race, overtaking Oettl, while Odendaal and Cluzel were having a great battle between themselves, with Manu González observing. But just four laps later, we saw Odendaal crash, which put him out of contention in this second race.
Aegerter and Oettl have broken away from the chasing group and have more than five seconds of advantage over them, so the excitement of the race now lies in two points: whether Oettl manages to catch Dominique, and then the battle for the last podium position between Bernardi, Krummenacher, Cluzel, Oncu and González.
Finally, Aegerter took the victory, dominating the race, followed by Oettl, with Krummenacher closing out the podium. The rest of the top 10 was completed by Cluzel, Bernardi, Gonzalez, Oncu, Tuuli, Alcoba and Takala. Herrera 20th and Montero 21st.
On to the next race.
