Rider Dany Torres faces the 2014 season with great enthusiasm. He has just recovered from a complicated injury that he is still working through, but this coming weekend he will face his first real test in Costa Rica with the X-Knights.
For Torres, this will be his first physical test since the ankle injury he suffered at the end of last season. It required surgery to insert pins in the affected area, which meant he was unable to train or get ready for the new season for a long time.
But now it’s time to get back into action. Although he is not yet at 100%, he will fight for a good result, even though he will face top-level rivals such as Tom Pagés, Javier Villegas, Maikel Melero, and Rob Adelberg, among others. Then, in March, the two championships the rider wants to compete in will begin: the IFMX World Championship and the Red Bull X-Fighters.
Torres must prepare for this demanding season, which begins shortly, and he will do so aboard his KTM SXF350. The action for Freestyle enthusiasts is about to begin, so don’t miss any of the news from our riders in this spectacular discipline, including Dany Torres and Maikel Melero.
All out, and let’s see how Torres’s first real test for his ankle goes this weekend.
