Dani Pedrosa talks about Mugello on his personal blog
This weekend the fourth round of the MotoGP World Championship season will take place at Mugello, so the championship arrives on Italian soil, where Rossi and his compatriots will give their all to be in the best positions and celebrate in front of their fans.
Dani Pedrosa talks about this new date on the calendar in his blog this week, where he says that the Italian Grand Prix tends to be a race riders really enjoy, because there is a great motorcycling atmosphere and the circuit is very fast, with many climbs and descents.
Of course, he is clear about who rules that area:
It is Rossi’s territory too. If Valentino usually goes well almost everywhere, at home he goes even better. Besides, it is a good layout for the Ducatis.
The Catalan is seeing good signs on his Honda RC212V, despite losing ground in the final part of the race. The bike is fast, and he has been able to fight for pole and set quick laps, but it falls short in final consistency, so they will have to work on making the package more consistent for the end of the race.
He is also aware that he has lost points and position in the standings, but he is clear that he should not focus on that right now. Instead, he has to keep improving his bike step by step and find a good overall setup.
We will keep a close eye on Dani Pedrosa.
