Casey Stoner: "Our little girl Alessandra Maria"
The 2011 MotoGP World Champion, Casey Stoner, wrote yesterday on his personal blog about the birth of little Alessandra Maria, since the 27-year-old is a real proud father.
Rider Casey Stoner wrote yesterday on his personal Repsol blog, in what would be one of the first statements from the 2011 MotoGP World Champion after welcoming his little Alessandra Maria a few days ago, so the Stoner family is absolutely delighted with everything.
It seems that for the newly-minted father the wait has been long, and we suppose he feared he would not be present at the key moment, since it fell right between the two pre-season tests at the Sepang Circuit, so he was lucky to be able to see his little girl arrive in this world, and of course to share this moment with his wife, Adriana.
After what seemed to be the longest wait in history, our little girl Alessandra Maria finally arrived on Thursday, February 16 at 21:55. She weighed 2.8 kg and the delivery went very well. Both Adriana and I are very happy to welcome ‘Ally’ into the world. She is so perfect!
The 27 is already a real proud father and it shows that he is head over heels for his little girl. He himself says “she is so perfect”, and comments that for now they are getting used to this new situation, but that she behaves very well and seems to have been quite calm.
This weekend we have spent getting to know her and adjusting to one another, and now that we have found a bit of a rhythm she sleeps very well. So far she has been very well behaved.
Casey also tells us that last week he was struck by the flu, and had to take care of himself and stay a little away from his two girls, but that he can now be with them again. Furthermore, he wanted to take advantage of this blog with his fans and followers to thank everyone for the displays of affection towards the three of them, both for the little one, the mother and him.
I would like to thank all our friends, family and fans for the sincere and kind wishes, comments and support. They mean a great deal to us, thank you very much from all three of us.
Although the rider of Repsol Honda has not forgotten that it will soon be time to head back to Sepang, so this week is for training, but also for making the most of every minute with Ally and Adriana, without a doubt a real proud father, the 27.
This week I am going to do a bit of training but at the same time spending as much time as possible with Ally and Adriana before travelling next weekend to carry out the second tests in Sepang.
Congratulations again to Adriana and Casey.
