Carmelo Morales is the pole-sitter for Stock Extreme CEV at Catalunya

Carmelo Morales of JHK LaGlisse took pole position in the Stock Extreme category with a time of 1:45.376, set on his Kawasaki in the first session this morning. The rest of the front row will be made up of Xavi Forés of BMW Motorrad Competicion and Javier del Amor with the Suzuki.

The Stock Extreme riders have been the ones who have suffered most from the heat in this fourth points-scoring round of the CEV, as very few have been able to beat this morning’s times, when both the bikes and the tyres were working perfectly.

Behind them, Santi Barragán with the Palmeto PLR Kawasaki, Adrián Bonastre with the second Suzuki and Antonio Alarcos, on the private Alarcos Racing by GT Engineering Kawasaki, who already reached the podium at the previous race held at the Motorland circuit, will start from the second row. The only rider among the front-running positions who managed to beat his morning time was Kyle Smith on the Wild Wolf-BST Kawa.

Tomorrow from 11 a.m. the race will take place, and they will surely be able to beat today’s times by taking advantage of the cool air before the heat that is expected sets in for the remaining categories. Remember that you can watch it on Mediaset’s Energy channel.
