Carla Calderer will not be present at the Moto2 CEV race in Cheste
Rider Carla Calderer will not be present at the Moto2 race of the Spanish Velocity Championship this weekend in Cheste, as she has suffered an injury that will prevent her from taking part in the penultimate race of the season.
Apparently she took a very hard blow to her knee while training last weekend, so we will not be able to see the Catalan rider on track, as the doctors have advised her to take great care and rest after suffering severe pain.
What a shame, because every race is important for gaining more experience and learning, but in situations of force majeure there is nothing that can be done, only to follow the specialists’ advice and rest so she can come back stronger for the next one, although she could also miss the final race in Jerez if conditions do not improve.
I feel really bad for Carla, I hope she recovers soon and can be back on the throttle in no time.
Come on Carla!
We will keep an eye on the CEV.
