A new edition of the kit that made history in the motocross world championship, the AXO TC222, has been developed. In collaboration with the seven-time motocross world champion Tony Cairoli, the brand has created garments for off-road use that guarantee the best technical performance, combined with a modern and bold style.
The renewed suit from AXO’s cross range was born from the mutual effort of the Italian rider and the designers, resulting in a Limited Edition production that stands out for its aggressive and dynamic style. The TC222 has been conceived to meet the needs of the most demanding riders and is made up of lightweight garments that offer the comfort and protection typical of top-level competition.
It was Tony Cairoli himself who chose the orange and blue colors on a white background when designing the graphics of the TC222, giving rise to a unique mix that embodies all the strength, passion and grit characteristic of the brand. The TC222 polyester jersey has a comfortable fit both in the chest and in the sleeves, and also incorporates breathable side panels that facilitate ventilation. The jersey also includes elastic inserts that maximize mobility when performing the most complicated maneuvers on the bike.
To protect the rider, it includes padded elbow guards that absorb impacts. The side seams are stitched to the inside so they are not uncomfortable, and the rear panel is made from a single piece, achieving high comfort for the user. So that any rider can feel like a motocross professional, the back is fully customizable and has space to print a name and number. This technical jersey is sold in sizes from S to XXL at a price of 54.45 euros (VAT included).
Meanwhile, the TC222 pants are manufactured to the demands of a discipline that is very hard on garments, since their fabric is highly resistant and has anti-abrasion material in the area in contact with the exhaust pipe. For greater rider comfort, they not only fit the shape of the body perfectly, avoiding friction, but also include elastic fabric inserts and a polyester inner lining. To protect the knees, the pants incorporate cowhide reinforcements to cushion possible impacts to the joint, as well as a recess to house knee guards.
The pants’ closure is very comfortable and simple, as it is done with a zipper and button. The TC222 pants are available in sizes 44 to 58 and their price is 156.09 euros (VAT included).
