AXO presents its Air Cage Pro for riders as tough as steel

The AXO brand brings us its new full chest protector, the perfect protection for offroad riding. Offroad riding carries dangers inherent to the discipline, so when it’s time to get on the bike, whether on the motocross track, enduro or cross-country, no amount of protection is too much.

AXO has developed a full chest protector that offers a high level of protection for the areas most at risk of impact on the upper body, without limiting the rider’s mobility or making them suffer excessive heat: the Air Cage Pro.

The new full chest protector from the Italian company has been designed to be worn under the offroad jersey and protect the rider from possible impacts they may suffer during this activity, whether from a fall, from stones kicked up by the bike in front, or even from branches and other surprises found on enduro trails. To this end, the Air Cage Pro incorporates rigid, shock-absorbing material on the chest and back, as well as additional protection for the shoulders, elbows and forearms.

To protect the back, the Air Cage Pro incorporates a resistant overlapping polyurethane back plate that fully protects this area without leaving a single gap. The chest protector also protects the lower back thanks to an integrated lumbar belt that is adjusted with Velcro. However, the most notable feature of the new Air Cage Pro is its exceptional ergonomics, combining rigid parts with flexible ones and a breathable mesh on the inside. The protector is built on a layer of Coolmax fabric which, together with the perforations in its protective panels, provides perfect ventilation and prevents excessive sweating, improving the rider’s performance during such a demanding activity.
