Athena Motor Ibérica has presented the new collection, made up of the Aviator 2.3 AMS, Aviator ACE, Terminator Open Vision, Twist 2.0 and Wraap models. The helmets from the Italian brand meet very high quality standards, after being tested in competitions as demanding as the Dakar Rally.
Airoh’s new range of off-road helmets has arrived in Spain, made up of the Aviator 2.3 AMS, Aviator ACE, Terminator Open Vision, Twist 2.0 and Wraap models. The new off-road range has become one of its most faithful representatives. All of its models, moreover, are backed by having been tested under the most demanding conditions and pushed to the limit in races as extreme as the Dakar Rally.
This is the case of the Aviator 2.3 AMS, a helmet developed and improved over the years thanks to competition. It stands out for its HPC shell (High Performance Composite), AMS2 (Airoh Multiaction Safety System), AMLS (Airoh Magnetic Lining System) and AEFR (Airoh Emergency Fast Release). It also features a complex airflow channeling system to ensure the best possible riding conditions. The model can be completed with various accessories such as a helmet bag, visor extender, spare screw kit, GoPro kit or ‘air vents cover’ kit.
The Aviator Ace is a superlative helmet that offers excellent comfort in any situation thanks to its sophisticated ventilation system, which combines front, top and rear air intakes, as well as in the chin bar and the adjustable visor. All of this is thanks to the double HPC outer shell, the ASN System (Airoh Sliding Net) and the AEFR System (Airoh Emergency Fast Release). In addition, its aggressive, modern graphics give it a very attractive look.
The Terminator OV (Open Vision) is aimed at riders seeking the greatest possible visibility . This HPC helmet combines strength, lightness and ventilation. It is equipped with a complex ventilation system, an outer shell in two different sizes, a wide visor, a double-ring closure system (DD ring), anti-dust filters and removable, washable interior parts.
The best-selling Twist 2.0 has improved its performance. Now this successful model is more aggressive while still not giving up its great lightness. The HRT shell (High Resistant Thermoplastic) features double EPS (expanded polystyrene) for a better fit. In addition, it stands out for its eye-catching rear spoiler, which improves its aerodynamics and stability even at the highest speeds. Inside we find a remarkable improvement: the new ASN system, which allows the interior to slide in the event of an impact, and extraordinary ventilation for daily use. The adjustable visor with extender, the sophisticated airflow channeling system, the anti-dust filter and the DD-Ring closure system complete the formula for its success.
The Wraap is Airoh’s big novelty and is aimed at younger riders, with stylized and aggressive graphics. It features a very lightweight HRT (High Resistant Thermoplastic) shell, available in three different sizes to cover all head sizes, suitable even for the smallest Airohriders thanks to its Regular and Slim versions. The innovative variable-density double EPS system raises safety standards to those of a high-end helmet. Its antiallergenic, fully removable interior parts and the DD-Ring closure system guarantee maximum safety.
