Andrea Iannone will not take part in the MotoGP Grand Prix at Laguna Seca
Rider Andrea Iannone will not take part in the MotoGP World Championship Grand Prix at the Laguna Seca Circuit, so he will be withdrawing from this weekend's event with Pramac Racing. The Italian suffered a very nasty crash during Saturday's practice sessions for the German Grand Prix and dislocated his right shoulder.

Iannone crashed on Saturday at the German circuit in one of the fastest sections of the track, dislocating his right shoulder in a very painful injury. He was treated quickly at the mobile clinic, but was declared NOT fit to take part in the German Grand Prix, so on the 29th he was ruled out of the eighth round of the premier-class season. He had hoped to recover in time for the next event at Laguna Seca. Without a doubt, last weekend was very hard for the Pramac rider in terms of crashes and scares.
Finally, it has been confirmed that the Italian rider will not be able to race at the US track of Laguna Seca either. The Ducati rider cannot even raise his arm properly, so he is not in condition to compete in such a demanding and complicated race on a unique track. On the 29th, this was difficult news to digest, although the Italian, who understands his situation, was very eager to make his debut at this circuit with its famous corkscrew.
This negative news adds to all the injuries and physical setbacks recorded at the German track, and we will see how he arrives for the Indianapolis event.
