Álvaro Bautista Wins Race 2 of the Superbike World Championship at Motorland Aragón
Rider Álvaro Bautista has taken the victory in Race 2 of the Superbike World Championship at the Motorland Aragón Circuit, followed by Toprak and Rinaldi.

The Superbike World Championship rolled out at the Motorland Aragón Circuit for Race 2 of the weekend. After what we saw in the Sprint race, the time has come for Sunday’s long race, where Álvaro Bautista, Jonathan Rea and Toprak Razgatlioglu are the big favorites.
Álvaro Bautista got off to a good start, holding on to the first position he started from, while Jonathan Rea was 2nd. But shortly after, we saw the KRT rider and Locatelli hit the Ducati rider hard and pass him, dropping Álvaro to third place.
Bautista managed to pass both of them and regain the lead, with Locatelli glued to his rear wheel and Rea and Toprak in chase mode. Meanwhile, we watched Locatelli block Toprak, with Rea stuck behind both Yamahas. Without a doubt, they will be talking to Andrea in the pit box.
The laps went by, with all the excitement focused on the battle between Toprak and Locatelli. The Turkish rider’s teammate did not make things easy for him and gave him plenty of trouble. With 4 laps to go, Toprak managed to overtake Locatelli, because Andrea broke his bike’s engine, a shame for the 55 after a superb race.
In the end, Álvaro Bautista took the victory, dominating the race at all times, with Toprak and Rinaldi behind him. The top 10 was completed by Rea, Bassani, Lecuona, Oettl, Vierge, Gardner and Gerloff. With this result, Bautista is now the leader with a 47-point advantage over Toprak.
On to the next race.
