Abraham injured and Schrotter without a team for Mugello

Today we have received more news for the Motorcycle World Championship Grand Prix at the Mugello Circuit, as Karel Abraham will once again be out, and there is a rider change in the Moto3 category: Schrotter leaves Mahindra and Ricardo Moretti joins.

The first point is quite strange again, since we have no medical report, but the Cardion AB Motoracing team of the MotoGP World Championship has confirmed that their rider, Karel Abraham, is still recovering from the injuries he suffered in a crash at the Motorland Aragón Circuit, and that he will not be present at the Mugello event.

So, after missing the last races, he will also be sidelined for the ninth round of the season. It also seems that at this Italian event he will have no replacement, at least it will not be Franco Battaini, who rode the Ducati at Sachsenring. We will see whether they confirm someone or he simply stays out of the track.

Another of the changes that has been confirmed is in the Moto3 World Championship, where Marcel Schrotter has ended his relationship with Mahindra. In principle it was by mutual agreement, but they have decided not to continue together from this race at Mugello, so they have had to look for another rider to take over his machine, and the chosen one has been Ricardo Moretti.

We will see how things go for him in this first full event, since the Italian stays as the permanent rider for the Mahindra team, and we will also be watching the move Schrotter makes next.
