Xavi Forés returns to the action of the Superbike World Championship in Qatar

Rider Xavi Forés returns this weekend to the Superbike World Championship, where we will see the Valencian in action again at the controls of Davide Giugliano’s Ducati, a new opportunity for our rider in a championship that is extremely exciting.

In April, the Ducati rider took part in the races at Motorland and Assen, achieving, in addition, great results. In Spain he finished sixth and fifth in each of the races, and in the Netherlands he finished seventh and eighth. So these were interesting results, and what has led them to rely on him again for the end of the season.

In addition to his several titles as Spanish and European champion, last season he added the IDM Superbike title. This year he was unable to repeat as champion but did finish as runner-up. This weekend he has another great opportunity to demonstrate his level, quality and desire to be in a World Championship like the Superbike. Xavi will take part in the season’s final round in Qatar with the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati SBK Team, continuing the two races we mentioned earlier at Aragón and Assen.

The rider is already there preparing physically for a round for which he has very good feelings. On Friday at 18:30 (Spanish time) the free practice sessions will begin, and at 22:00 the second ones. On Saturday at 17:00 he will have the third sessions. At 20:10 Superpole 1 will take place, and at 20:10 Superpole 2. On Sunday at 18:00 the first race will start, and at 21:00 the second.

It is a very important weekend for me. I have another opportunity to enjoy an official bike and I would like to improve on the results from the start of the year. Qatar is a circuit I like and where I already had the chance to race at night in the Moto2 World Championship, so I am very motivated and eager for everything to begin.
