Vázquez and Martín with Team Laglisse in Bilbao

Team Laglisse, together with its two Moto3 World Championship riders, Adrián Martín and Efrén Vázquez, enjoyed a very interesting afternoon and evening at the team presentation in Bilbao, where they were welcomed in grand style by all those in attendance.

The Bizkaia Provincial Council (Diputación Foral de Bizkaia) warmly welcomed both Vázquez and Martín, undoubtedly making for a very lovely evening at the Hotel Carlton, where the entire Moto3 World Championship team could be seen, including JHK T-Shirt LaGlisse Team Manager Jaime Fernández-Avilés and sporting director Pablo Nieto.

This season is the team’s first in the World Championship, but this structure has a great deal of experience in the CEV, having won 14 titles in its history, so it was time to take the big leap. Every day, at every race, they keep improving, and although they have had some bad luck, they are moving forward. Now comes another race at home, so they will give their all at next week’s Gran Premio de Catalunya.

Statements from Efrén Vázquez:

It has been wonderful to see people receive us this way, and also the media and the television channels, who turned out in force for the presentation. Now it is up to us to repay them with podiums and good results.

We had a great time, and it is nice to share these moments with the team away from the circuits, because it brings us even closer together. Next week we head to Montmeló. Although it is a circuit where I have always struggled a little and I don’t like it as much as Le Mans, this year it is a different bike and a different category, so we arrive eager to finish what we couldn’t complete in France.
