Ural Dark Force: A limited edition for Star Wars fans

On December 18th, Star Wars: The Force Awakens premieres worldwide, a film that many fans of the galactic saga that began in 1977 have been waiting for. To celebrate, merchandise is popping up everywhere, and the motorcycle world couldn’t stay out of this consumer frenzy, so we were waiting to see what product would appear to bring the magic of this film home to us.

And finally, a motorcycle based on one of the most popular characters in the saga, and indeed in cinema in general, has arrived: Darth Vader. The Ural Dark Force looks like the two-wheeled vehicle a Lord of the Sith would ride, including a place to carry a small astromech droid like R2-D2. Or any other, of course.

This model is decorated with motifs from the dark side of the Force, with a completely black bodywork, including the engine block and exhausts, which are coated in ceramic. Black is the standard color on this model, which allows it to carry a passenger in the attached sidecar, with all the class a Dark Lord needs. The seat is also black and offers comfort for riding, though not at hyperspace speed, but enough to do so with full comfort on the roads and streets of our planet.

Lighting is provided by an LED headlight, because even though it’s a motorcycle from the Dark Side, it offers good brightness. And speaking of light, it’s worth noting that the rider has an extendable lightsaber (red, of course), mounted on the side of the motorcycle, between it and the sidecar.

It is equipped with the 749 cc twin-cylinder engine found in the base model, which delivers 41 hp and a maximum torque of 57 Nm. If you’re a true fan, remember that only 25 units will be manufactured, sold only in the United States, and priced at $15,000, so if you want to go to the premiere on this motorcycle, you’ll have to hurry to reserve it. What do you think?
