Toni Bou wins the 2017 Spanish Trial Championship round in Sigüenza
Rider Toni Bou has won the 2017 Spanish Trial Championship round in Sigüenza, with great anticipation for this event in the championship.

Rider Toni Bou dominated the Spanish Trial Championship round in Sigüenza, taking victory in the third round of the SPEA RFME Spanish Trial Championship 2017, the second scoring round for TR1. Besides the Montesa-HRC rider, Gabriel Marcellí also claimed victory in the TR2 class on Alcarria soil, Sergio Moreno won in TR3, Adrià Albejano in TR4, Martín Riobo in Junior, and Álex Canales in Cadet.
The Moto Club Alto Henares, the organizer, set up a course of nearly 11 kilometers for the occasion; very similar to the one marked in 2016, with Sigüenza’s Plaza Mayor, a rectangular square with a porticoed gallery along one side, serving as the starting and finishing point. In total there were 12 sections, 10 for Cadet and TR4, and 11 for TR3 and Junior, dominated by the large sand and granite boulders typical of the area, along with loose earth and stone.
Rider Toni Bou (Montesa-HRC) was followed by Adam Raga (TRS) in second and Albert Cabestany (Sherco) in third. The eight-time overall Spanish Champion and current title holder added his second win of 2017 here, after the one he secured three weeks ago on Mallorcan soil, and he remains unbeaten in Sigüenza Trial since the town joined the great CET family six seasons ago.
Bou closed the first pass through the mandatory zones with a total of 14 points, while on the second pass through them, TR1 is the only category in which riders pass the same zone twice in a row before tackling the next one, he has only accumulated 12 points on his card. Raga, for his part, followed him on the podium after accumulating 14 and 16 points, respectively. Cabestany, meanwhile, needed 18 and 19 points to claim the last place on the podium.
As for TR2, the silver category of the 2017 CET, victory went for the second consecutive race to Gabriel Marcellí with a total of 3 points; 2 fewer than Aniol Gelabert in second, and 21 fewer than Sam Obradó, third in the end. In the remaining classes in action, the winners were the following riders: Sergio Moreno in TR3 and on his return to the championship; Adrià Albejano in TR4; Martín Riobo in Junior; and Álex Canales in Cadet.
The fourth round of the SPEA RFME Spanish Trial Championship 2017 will take place on June 11 in Arnedillo, La Rioja, organized by Moto Club Calahorra. As here, the TR1, TR2, TR3, TR4, Junior and Cadet categories will take the start there, joined by Women A.
