Toni Bou clinches the perfect season at the Indoor Trial World Championship in Milan
The 2011 Indoor Trial World Champion, Toni Bou, completed a perfect season yesterday with his sixth victory in the championship, winning every round on the World Championship calendar, which made him the dominant force in the indoor discipline.
The Catalan was extremely relaxed after securing his title at the previous round in Madrid, so he had no pressure and competed without stress, all in order to make history once again with his sixth victory in Milan, where the final round of the SPEA FIM X-TRIAL WORLD INDOOR 2011 was held.
With Bou free of pressure, he won again, so all the excitement was focused on the rider behind the Montesa rider, as Albert Cabestany and Adam Raga were battling for the runner-up spot in the season standings. In the end Cabestany proved the most consistent, securing second place in the World Championship.
Although Cabestany made some mistakes due to nerves, giving chances to a very determined Raga, he came up against Jeroni Fajardo, who gave him a hard time for second position. In the end the Ossa rider finished ahead of Raga, earning the best result for the brand this season.
Finally, Cabestany was the runner-up for the season, while Raga had to settle for third place in the final standings, with an outstanding Bou as champion.
We will keep a close eye on Trial.
