The Honda brand continues to unveil some of its off-road new features for the new season, and after several new releases it is now the turn of the surprising CRF125FB, a motorcycle inspired by its big motocross siblings and presented as the perfect first trail bike, with a low-maintenance, air-cooled engine and strong low-end torque.
The CRF125F 2014 is the latest motorcycle to join the CRF family. And although it is small, it is a model that will deliver great off-road thrills and experience. This model will replace the CRF100F.
The CRF125FB not only increases its displacement; its four-speed, air-cooled engine has been specifically tuned to help novice riders with abundant, linear low-end torque. In addition, the inclusion of an electric starter also makes things easier for young riders.
A completely new chassis and high-quality suspension and brakes deliver improved performance, offering confident handling and braking. Undoubtedly, the low seat height, light weight and compact size make it a very manageable motorcycle. Stability and traction are ensured by a 19-inch front wheel, complemented by a 16-inch rear. New footpegs – wide footrests and brake pedal – complement the narrower handlebar and allow excellent control.
The triangular body proportions of the CRF450R are applied to the CRF125FB, giving the rider complete freedom to move around on the bike. In short, it is the ideal first trail bike for progressing safely and confidently in off-road riding.
This motorcycle will be available from September.
