The 2015 World Superbike Championship is about to begin, the first race of the season at Phillip Island Circuit will take place in a few weeks, so excitement and tension are at their peak, and that is why we are immersed in the presentations of all the teams and squads that will take part in this 2015 season.

The latest presentation we attended was that of a top favorite team, Kawasaki Racing Superbike, with the Japanese machine that will make its mark on every track it visits as the main focus, but the bike was not alone: the two riders who will be piloting it were also present, Tom Sykes and Jonathan Rea.

The team held its official presentation in Barcelona, under the central dome of the Mercat de les Flors in Barcelona, where Tom Sykes and Jonathan Rea were presented on Thursday evening as the spearheads with which Kawasaki Racing Team will try to take the crown in the 2015 WorldSBK. On one hand, Sykes wants to reclaim his crown; on the other, Rea wants to start this new adventure with Kawa with the best results. Both will ride a Ninja ZX-10R, whose updated image was also unveiled yesterday.

Other representatives of the Japanese brand were also present at the presentation and shared their impressions about the new season with attendees. Kawasaki has also set itself the goal of winning this year’s Manufacturers’ Championship, after losing it in 2014 by a narrow margin of 37 points.

The moment of truth has arrived: the World Superbike Championship is about to begin.
