The CesMotard lands in Lleida tomorrow in grand style

This weekend we have plenty of action in Lleida, as the Spanish Supermotard Championship arrives on an urban circuit, so expect excitement and pure spectacle. The event was presented in Pavilion 4 of the Fira, where members of the organization and public figures spoke about this great SM gathering.

Àngel Grau, member of the organization and Team Manager of Suzuki Grau Racing, explained the reasons behind the return of this event, how it has been designed, how many categories it includes, and much more to the media present, showing as always his passion for this discipline, because SM is lived intensely. Seated beside him at the table were the Lleida Sports Councillor, Txema Alonso, the Head of Interdepartmental Relations, Antoni Fo, and Joaquim Perisé, Territorial Delegate in Lleida of the Consell Català de l’Esport.

But without a doubt, it is thanks to the organizers that we will have this event in Lleida this weekend, and of course thanks to the tremendous work carried out by the Moto Club Lleida. Not only will the national championship be held, but there will also be a Catalan round and the Lleida Trophy, all within the Fira grounds of the Catalan city, at the Camps Elisis, where the urban track has been created.

The track is 1,200 metres long, with two off-road sections and an alternative route for the Road category, which is entirely on asphalt. So around 100 riders will be able to enjoy these facilities and this important event. The activity will begin tomorrow at 9:30 with the Promotion categories and will finish around 18:45, while Sunday will be the big day, with the administrative and technical scrutineering for the Spanish Championship, ending with the awards ceremony at 16:00.

We have brought this championship back because we believe in this sport. In fact, the riders from Lleida have shown us this themselves: on the overall starting grid we will have more than forty percent of local competitors. We hope that the hard work we are putting in will be worth it, and that the fact that this is a free event will help fill the Camps Elisis.

Come by the Lleida Supermotard. It will be a party and a great show, with the spectacle taking place on the street circuit of the Catalan city, pure entertainment with the best riders of the discipline in action.
