SPIDI presents its Riding Parka winter jacket
The SPIDI brand has launched its winter jacket, the Riding Parka.
The brand SPIDI introduces its new jacket, the Riding Parka, a versatile winter model designed to ride through city streets with confidence. The Italian manufacturer continues to improve safety and comfort over the years, staying true to its philosophy and offering two-wheel riders a jacket that meets their needs in cold or rainy weather.
The Riding Parka is a garment made from a 3-layer laminated fabric and elastic material, comfortable and waterproof, ideal for riding around the city with the highest possible level of safety without sacrificing comfort. Back in 1994, SPIDI developed the first three-layer jacket on the market. Year after year, drawing on user experience, the brand has refined its designs to offer highly complete products for motorcycle enthusiasts, such as this new Riding Parka, designed for urban use.
A jacket featuring Step-In Clothing technology and a system that comes from the military world, which SPIDI’s ‘Safety Lab’ has been working on for a long time. The result is this H2OUT garment, made from a three-layer fabric that gives the rider elasticity, waterproofing and comfort, with neoprene details at the cuffs and collar so the rider stays as comfortable as possible on the bike and dry in any conditions.
In terms of safety, it holds EN 17092-4:2020 Class A certification, thereby complying with Regulation (EU) 2016/454. On top of all this, it has a fixed liner and a removable 100 g liner, as well as removable Warrior Lite CE EN1621-1 Level 1 protectors for the shoulders and elbows. It is also prepared for the addition of back protectors. Another important feature of the Riding Parka is its 3M Scotchlite reflective material, which makes the rider visible in low-visibility conditions.
This jacket weighs 2 kg, but this is no obstacle to carrying everything you need, since in addition to safety it offers extra capacity thanks to two waterproof pockets, one on the inside and one on the outside, for keeping your wallet or motorcycle keys dry in rainy weather.
