Rins shines in the Moto3 German race, with Salom 2nd and Viñales 3rd
The Moto3 World Championship has kicked off the racing action at the Sachsenring Circuit, witnessing a most interesting event in the small category, with Álex Rins finally winning, closely followed by Luis Salom and Maverick Viñales. A real cracker of a Moto3 race.

The start was very good for Álex Rins and Luis Salom, while Oliveira dropped back a little and Jonas Folger got caught up a bit at the start, with a Jack Miller who got right up at the front alongside Mack Viñales. At that moment the rider from Honda went for it, wanting to take advantage of being with the favourites, and really pushed Salom-Viñales, while Rins in the lead opened up a gap on the group thanks to the battle behind.
The passing of the laps calmed the start, with Rins in the lead, but with his rivals not far behind, with a fight between Viñales and Salom, with Miller easing off a little, but maximum tension, and also in the second group between Folger, Vázquez and Márquez, brutal, our riders from behind.
With 15 laps to go we saw Salom and Viñales catch Rins, letting the 42 pass the 25 so that Mack could pull a bit, with Luis in third position, making for a very exciting race with the three favourites, while Márquez, Oliveira, Vázquez and Miller were in a very competitive second group.
The high point of the race began with 5 laps to go, with the group of three close together and the final moments of the race, so maximum intensity between Rins, Viñales and Salom. With three laps left Salom delivered a brutal blow to the two riders, the overtake was spectacular, and the 39 also set a very strong pace and managed to open an important gap on his strongest rivals.
And finally the last lap arrived, the three were once again quite close, although not very tight behind Salom, but today Rins was “on fire” and pulled off a BRUTAL move on the inside of Salom. The 39 had to settle for second place, while Viñales could not fight much, although he stayed very close on time to Luis on the home straight, but today the big winner was Álex Rins, who amazed with a textbook finish at the German circuit.
The remaining positions: Oliveira 4th, Márquez 5th, Vázquez 6th, Miller 7th, Folger 8th, Binder 9th and 10th Sissis. The rest of our riders finished I. Viñales 12th, Carrasco 24th, Guevara 25th. Now Salom has 14 points over Viñales and 30 points over Rins.
On holiday.
