Max Biaggi renews for two more years with Aprilia in the World Superbike Championship

Rider Max Biaggi has renewed for two more years with the Aprilia brand. Without a doubt, the Champion was clear that he wanted to stay with the bike that made him the 2010 World Superbike Champion, so the Italian will remain with Aprilia Racing for two more seasons.

It has been a very good year for the veteran rider, as he has won the championship title and has shown that he is still the young Italian who gave everything on the track. He has returned to his youth and has won again after a few difficult seasons.

But the revolution came in 2010 with a total of 10 victories, four double matches and four podiums, which led him to claim that world crown. Moreover, they are the clear favourites for next season, in which the Italian will surely give everything to defend his title.

Obviously, I am very happy to continue with this winning adventure in the World Superbike Championship with Aprilia.

After a very exciting and demanding season, and after many years of competition and many victories, it is natural to think about stopping and reflecting on what is most important for the future. In my decision, a truly decisive factor has been the start of my adventure with Aprilia, as I have always felt very close to the team and the company, which is capable of clearly focusing its sporting objectives.

Now we need to prepare for next season as best we can. We are clear that we cannot rest on our laurels and that we must be ready to beat our rivals.

I am now sure that we will be very motivated from the start of the first race with a bike with which we have been at the very top, a position I do not want to give up, ready to fight hard, extremely hard.

We will remain attentive to Superbikes.
