Maverick Viñales dominates the KTM Moto3 test at Almeria
The JHK T-Shirt LaGlisse Team has been the big dominator of the KTM Moto3 test at the Almeria Circuit. Its rider Maverick Viñales was the fastest and also managed to lower the record of the Andalusian circuit, so interest is at its peak. Carrasco has also shown strength and good progression.
The JHK T-Shirt LaGlisse team today closed its pre-season test at the Almeria Circuit, where several of the teams and riders who will use KTM in Moto3 in 2013 were present to continue fine-tuning the machines.
In addition, the team that features rookie Ana Carrasco and one of the favourites, Maverick Viñales, has dominated the times in these training sessions at the Andalusian track, especially the 25, who has once again flown with his KTM, being the fastest, and not only that, but he has also broken the circuit record again.
For her part, Carrasco continues her adaptation and has shown us a very interesting progression, reducing her lap time and setting a time that leaves her best mark from 2012 almost two seconds behind.
Both the riders and the team are satisfied and ready for the start of the championship.
Statements from #25 Maverick Viñales 1’39.1 (150 laps):
I am very happy. Over these three days we have worked a great deal on the bike, which is very important, but the most important thing is that we have improved steadily. We have evolved quickly and we already have a good setup on the bike. I am also very happy with the team; not only have they worked very well, but we have also adapted to each other very quickly.
Statements from Ana Carrasco 1’41.8 (160 laps):
We have worked hard all these days, we have done about 160 laps of the circuit and I am very happy about that, but we still have to keep improving. We need to work on the suspension, with which I have some difficulties. Next week we train again and I want to keep progressing to keep lowering my times.
