Kristian Von Hornsleth and his Ducati Kill Me Fast
The artist Kristian Von Hornsleth has created a very eye-catching, special and colorful design for several Ducati models, specifically the 1098 and the 1198, giving his own vision and touch to these Italian machines. It's a harsh image, but to my taste it's very interesting; I find them spectacular, although that depends on personal taste. The purists will look for them in red, but they're not bad at all.
The artist Kristian Von Hornsleth has gone all out in the world of motorcycles, creating a very special collection for Ducati called Kill Me Fast, whose designs are based on the magnificent Italian machines 1098 and 1198. It’s a project that is sure to be a success, because he has turned these thoroughbreds into works of beauty. Taste will always vary from person to person, but I like this aggressive, colorful and flashy style. With this bike, nobody will go unnoticed.
This is a special collection by this artist in which he has captured his style across these 10 models, adding his touch and his artistic vision of speed and danger, and leaving the red. For now we only have a few images, but we will surely have the complete catalog of both models in the series soon. Apparently he was also heavily inspired by the sensations these beasts produce, asking users and studying their responses, and blending speed, beauty, technology and death into these designs.
The result is these spectacular designs, original and very eye-catching, although the name of the collection and the phrase on the side are perhaps not the most appropriate, because we riders love speed, but always with safety and all the mechanisms to avoid scares and falls. Therefore we don’t share that Kill Me Fast sense; rather, we enjoy the feeling of freedom that two wheels give us on a road, but while staying alert and safe.
