Jorge Lorenzo ready for Indianapolis and gunning for Rossi

lorenzorossi10yamaha

Rider Jorge Lorenzo has kept most of the MotoGP paddock on tenterhooks about his future, but in the end the Mallorcan has decided to stay with the team with which he has achieved excellent results during the two seasons he has spent in the premier class.

Lorenzo himself has acknowledged that his decision was motivated by the manufacturer’s great effort to keep him in its ranks, although he does not hesitate to say that he found himself seriously considering Ducati’s spectacular offer.

Some days I saw myself at Ducati and other days at Yamaha, but the truth is that Yamaha made a very big effort for me to stay and I could not betray them.

So, with this much-discussed decision, the young rider will remain the teammate and garage neighbour of the great Valentino Rossi, meaning his biggest rival will once again be by his side during the 2010 season.

We are learning, seeing how he can be beaten, but so far I have not managed to beat him.

Now the MotoGP World Championship arrives in Indianapolis for the twelfth round of the calendar, where the Spaniard will try to make up for his last crash at the Brno Grand Prix, although he is aware that catching Rossi in the overall standings is almost impossible.

Until it is mathematically lost, you should never throw in the towel, but I know it is very difficult.

We will remain attentive to MotoGP.
