Iván Silva unbeatable in the CEV. Pole in Valencia

Iván Silva remains unbeatable in the CEV and has claimed a new pole at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Cheste. With a colder track than usual, the morning times set the grid

The rider of the Kawasaki Palmeto PL, Iván Silva, has taken another pole in the CEV practice sessions that have just concluded, held at the Valencia circuit. The Catalan set a time of 1:34.726, beating reigning champion Xavi Forés by just over 0.089.

Behind them, Santi Barragán’s Kawasaki will start from the front row with a time of 1:35.118, 0.392 off the pace. In fourth was Forés’s teammate at Team Motorrad, Xavier del Amor, almost a second behind Silva.

The session was held without incidents, was very calm, and apart from a few track excursions, there were no problems to report. What was noticeable is that the track was in worse condition, as the times in the second session were more than a second slower than those set in the morning.

The rest of the top ten on the grid will be made up of Mariñelarena of CNS Motorsport in 5th, Alberto López of Motorrad Competición 6th, David Smith of Wild Wolf-BST 7th, Ferrán Casas of Marvel Hoteles RT 8th, Albert Santamaría of Prolimit Racing 9th and Enrique Ferrer of Dues Rodes J.Pino 10th.
